NEW MOTHERHOOD
TORTORELLA is committed to supporting all forms of motherhood.
Society currently has an almost unattainable image of motherhood that puts women under enormous pressure. This is particularly evident on social media in the form of #momshaming. If a mother deviates even slightly from the "perfect" norm, she reaps criticism and unsolicited advice.
Fresh new mums often lack the self-confidence to stand up for their personal parenting style and question themselves.
Wouldn't it be much nicer if mothers met without judgement?
# No unsolicited advice (even if it's meant kindly). you do you!
# It's nobody's business whether a woman breastfeeds or not and what her reasons are. also how long is breastfed, 2 weeks or 2 years, does not have to be commented on.
# Regardless of whether a woman stays at home for 3 years or goes back to the office after 3 months, she loves her child, is a good mother and can have a fulfilling life.
# we live with our children and not for our children. mothers also have limits and do not have to sacrifice themselves completely for their children.
# Breaks are okay and essential. look for your village and let them help you. Giving up your child once in a while doesn't make you a bad mother.
