Wear the Silverette Nipple Shields in your nursing bra between feeds as often as possible. To do this, put a few drops of breast milk in the cup and place it directly on the nipple. There is no need to use creams or lotions. It is recommended to wear the silver hats right from the start so that complaints such as cracked nipples do not occur in the first place. 
 
The Silverette nipple shields are inherently antibacterial and therefore only need to be washed under running water for cleaning.
